Hottest Auctions of the Week (May 24-31)
Snorlax Dominates the Auctions of the week. Legendary Collection takes 3 of 5 of the top graded sales. Mid era takes the cake for sealed.

Today is a huge day for Pokemon fans as the highly anticipated 30th Celebration Set was officially revealed. If you haven't seen it yet, we just published a full breakdown covering it HERE. Definitely worth checking out.
But while everyone’s busy talking about the 30th anniversary, some absolutely massive sales were taking place behind the scenes.
Let's take a look at the hottest Pokemon auctions of the week:
If you thought last week's sales were impressive... this week somehow managed to top them.
Vintage collectors were out in full force, with every card in the Top 5 graded sales clearing above the $60,000 mark. Taking the crown this week was a Legendary Collection Reverse Holo Snorlax, which sold for a staggering $120,000. Yes, you read that right... SIX FIGURES for a Snorlax card.
What really caught our attention though was Legendary Collection's dominance. Three of the Top 5 sales came from the set, including Snorlax, Meowth, and Gyarados. For a set that was once overlooked by many collectors, it's amazing to see just how much demand continues to pour into these iconic reverse holos.
On the sealed side, vintage continues to make headlines with a Base Set Green Wing Booster Box selling for over $45,000. But we can see another trend developing on the low as well.
Mid era is starting to gain traction.
An Evolving Skies Booster Box Case sold for over $16,000, while an XY Evolutions Booster Box Case brought nearly $14,000. These aren’t small numbers, and it's another sign that collectors are starting to look beyond vintage and chase scarcity wherever they can find it.
As more sealed product disappears into collections and long term holdings, it feels like buyers are becoming increasingly comfortable paying a premium for complete cases and harder to find products.
We’ll keep watching this trend closely.
