Hottest Sales of the Week: Vintage Won't Slow Down

A $264,000 Legendary Collection Pikachu reset the record while Gengar made it three straight weeks. The hottest Pokemon sales tracked June 22 to 28, 2026.

By Chase Society Desk

Every Monday we tell ourselves there's no way vintage can surprise us again. And somehow, it always does.

Just two weeks after we covered a Legendary Collection Reverse Holo Pikachu at $204,000, another copy came back and changed the conversation at $264,000. Gengar extended one of the hottest streaks we've seen in a while, Gold Stars reminded us why they're hobby favorites, and sealed collectors kept chasing products from nearly every era. Here are the hottest Pokemon sales we tracked, June 22 to 28.

The graded grails

Last week the story was Japanese grails taking over the leaderboard. This week, Legendary Collection came right back.

A PSA 10 Reverse Holo Pikachu led the week at $264,000, climbing another $60,000 from the $204,000 sale we covered just two weeks ago. When these ultra low-pop cards hit the market, collectors keep stepping up.

And of course there's Gengar. A PSA 10 Masaki Promo sold for $168,000, giving it a third straight week among the biggest sales of the week. The Legendary Collection Reverse Holo reached $408,000, then a Masaki sold for $198,000, and now another Masaki closes at $168,000. We can't seem to go a week without talking about Gengar.

Gold Stars reminded us why they've become some of the most iconic cards in the hobby. A PSA 10 POP Series 5 Umbreon matched Gengar at $168,000, while the Espeon followed at $90,000. To round things out, another Legendary Collection Reverse Holo Gengar crossed the six-figure mark at $100,099.

On the sealed side

What kept standing out in this week's sealed sales was how spread out demand has become. A Diamond & Pearl Mysterious Treasures Booster Box took the top spot at $14,211, and the four eras stacked up behind it are what really caught our eye.

Diamond & Pearl, Black & White, XY, and Sun & Moon were all represented in the top five. Phantom Forces, Black & White Base, Plasma Blast, and Team Up all found their way onto the leaderboard.

That's one of the healthiest signs we can see. Collectors are reaching well beyond vintage, buying the products they genuinely love, and demand is showing up across the entire Pokemon market.

The read

The rarest pieces almost always find a buyer. Whether it's Legendary Collection, Masaki promos, Gold Stars, or sealed booster boxes that barely ever hit the market, collectors show up when the opportunity is there.

We also can't ignore the trends forming right in front of us. Legendary Collection has been one of the biggest stories of the past few weeks. Gengar has now appeared on our leaderboard for three straight weeks. And every Monday it feels like another grail reminds us why vintage continues to separate itself.

We are definitely not complaining.
